Failing to carry out noise meter calibration as part of noise measurement methods, can put an organisation in jeopardy for not complying with the rules stipulated by noise at work regulations.
A noise measurement system should therefore always include noise meter calibration, even if it is believed the noise measurement equipment is sufficiently calibrated.
